The school has an extensive range of facilities, including specialist classrooms for the teaching of all subjects.  The school library is a popular location for students and teachers and caters to the needs of all teaching programs in the school.  The agricultural farm provides a well-resourced and attractive learning area for students, and the extensive playing fields enable students to enjoy both sport and recreation.

Moss Vale High is set high on a hill in one of the best locations in Moss Vale. There are views over the valleys to Mt Gibraltar, and the large school block ensures space for all students in a pleasant, friendly setting. There is a small school feeling even though there are many people at the school every day.

Moss Vale High seeks to ensure an effective, holistic education for all students, providing an extensive curriculum, effective student welfare programs and many opportunities for cultural, sporting and social activities.
